This win marks the third consecutive year the Cavaliers have reached the semi-finals and makes Allen only the second player in franchise history, after LeBron James, to achieve at least 20 points and 15 rebounds in a Game 7.

Meanwhile, the Detroit Pistons celebrated a monumental achievement by winning their first playoff series in 18 years, defeating the Orlando Magic 116-94 in their own Game 7. Cade Cunningham led the charge with 32 points and 12 assists, while Tobias Harris contributed 30 points.

Allen expressed his thrill at participating in his first Game 7, saying, "I had a great time doing it... It's just a different feeling that I've never experienced before."

Despite battling right knee tendonitis earlier in March, Allen averaged 28.5 minutes, 11.4 points, and 8.3 rebounds during the series. The Cavaliers now look forward to their semi-final matchup against the Pistons, starting this Tuesday in Detroit.

The Pistons made history by becoming the 15th team in NBA history to overcome a 3-1 deficit, showcasing their resilience after trailing by 24 points in Game 6 before clinching the series.
