The Confederación de Uniones de Federaciones Autonómicas Deportivas de España (CUFADE), the Unió de Federacions Esportives de Catalunya (UFEC), and the Federació Catalana de Voleibol (FCVB) successfully organized the event titled "Networking: Employment and Sports". This initiative aimed to unite representatives from the sports and business sectors to address new challenges in the sports job market and strengthen ties between sports and enterprise.

Held in collaboration with the Consell Superior d'Esports (CSD) and supported by INDESCAT, the event gathered presidents and leaders from federations, clubs, various unions of regional federations, specialized companies, and professionals. The goal was to foster shared knowledge, detect new professional needs, and create collaboration opportunities.

Gerard Esteva, president of CUFADE and UFEC, emphasized the role of sports as a strategic industry and economic engine, noting its growing capacity to generate quality employment. He advocated for consolidating collaboration spaces between businesses and sports entities to enhance the sector's competitiveness.

Maribel Zamora, CUFADE director and UFEC vice president, highlighted the need for continued connection between the sports and business worlds to tackle new professional challenges. A standout moment of the day was the talk by Ander Mirambell, Spain’s first Olympian in the skeleton event. His inspiring speech focused on perseverance, failure management, environmental importance, adaptability, and the pursuit of seemingly impossible goals.

The event also shed light on emerging trends in the sports job market, with various companies presenting the increasing demand for profiles linked to digitalization, health and wellness, communication, technology, event management, sports tourism, and services for entities. Participating organizations included UFEC Travel, Nationale-Nederlanden, Guinew, Uspot, AON, Swimbox, Euncet Business School, Zero Limits, Idole Health, and ASB Around Sport, all sharing their experiences and the challenges of incorporating specialized talent.

Ultimately, the event served as a vital meeting point for the entire sports ecosystem, facilitating the creation of professional relationships.
