The World Skate Games 2026, set to take place in Asunción, Paraguay from October 2 to 18, will showcase a strong representation of Catalan skating talent. Over 80 athletes linked to the Federació Catalana de Patinatge (FCP) have been called up, alongside ten artistic skating groups that will represent Spain at the World Championship. This participation reflects the continuous efforts of clubs, training structures, and technical teams throughout the year.

Artistic skating stands out with a significant presence, featuring 10 out of 13 groups selected in the show categories:

• CPA Olot, CPA Tona, and Artistic Skating Cunit in large shows
• Artistic Skating Cunit, CPA Tona, and PA Figueres in small shows
• Artistic Skating Cunit and CP Jove Salou in junior shows
• Artistic Skating Cunit will also compete in senior and junior quartets

In individual events, notable selections include Sira Bella, Elna Francés, and Arnau Pérez in senior free skating, along with Edgar Cabacas in solo dance.

Roller hockey will contribute significantly as well, with 13 out of 15 players preselected for the Spanish men's national team being Catalan. The women's national team includes nine Catalan players, and in the under-19 men's category, 12 out of 13 pre-convoked athletes are from Catalan clubs. The inline hockey division will feature a substantial number of junior and senior athletes.

Urban disciplines will also see competition from athletes such as Daniela Terol, Ivet Terol, Valentina Krauel, Grusha Reyna, and Bereket Fernández in skateboarding; Jahiel Duran, Lucas Caballero, Guifré Obradors, and Laia de la Romana in scootering; Álex Fernández, Carla Martín, and Maria Muñoz in roller freestyle; and Albert Forés and Oscar Rodríguez in downhill.
