The King & Queen of the Beach tournament returns to Cunit for its third edition on July 25, promising a dynamic beach volleyball competition that gathers some of the best pairs from the Catalan and state level. With a prize pool of €5,000, this event is set to be one of the summer's most exciting sporting spectacles.

The tournament features both women's and men's categories, with a maximum of 12 pairs in each. Qualification is based on rankings, including the top eight pairs from the state ranking and the best four from the Catalan ranking, ensuring that elite athletes compete.

Key features of the tournament include:

• A unique gameplay format that differs from traditional beach volleyball, promoting constant exchanges and high-paced action.
• A structured competition consisting of three phases:
  • Twelve pairs divided into two groups of six.
  • The top two from each group advance directly to the finals.
  • Pairs finishing third to fifth will play a semifinal to secure the final spot.

The grand final will showcase the five best pairs, all vying for the title of King & Queen of the Beach 2026.
