The Catalan beach volleyball teams have made an impressive start at the Championship of Spain for Autonomous Selections (CESA), securing three medals in the first two events of the national calendar.

• Silver Medal at CESA Sub-21
• Gold and Bronze Medals at CESA Sub-19

The first success came on July 19 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, where the female duo of Laia Escusa and Gala Sierra claimed the title of Sub-21 vice champions after an outstanding tournament, earning the silver medal. In the men's competition, Nahuel Tagliaferro and Thibault Torrellas showcased their skills, finishing in a commendable fifth place after an impeccable group stage.

A week later, from July 24 to 26 in Los Cristianos (Tenerife), Catalonia again demonstrated its prowess. Joana Morató and Gala Sierra became Sub-19 champions, completing a flawless championship, while Kai Erickson and Noah Maseras secured the bronze medal in the men's category.

With a total of three medals – one gold, one silver, and one bronze – the Catalan teams now look forward to the final commitment of the CESA beach volleyball calendar.

From August 4 to 8, the International Beach Volleyball Center in Lorca will host the Championship of Spain for Autonomous Selections in the children's and cadet categories, providing another chance for young Catalan talents to showcase the high level of local beach volleyball.
