Zoe Atkin capped off her halfpipe season in spectacular fashion, clinching her first outright overall World Cup title during the final event in Switzerland. The 23-year-old British freestyle skier, who previously shared last season's crown with Li Fanghui from China, triumphed at the Park and Pipe finals.

Atkin delivered an impressive performance, scoring 86.75 in Silvaplana, surpassing New Zealand's Mischa Thomas, who finished with 80.75, and neutral athlete Aleksandra Glazkova, who scored 80.00.

This victory secured Atkin a total of 360 points for the discipline, placing her 70 points ahead of Australia's Indra Brown, who finished sixth in the final.

Atkin's achievement came on the heels of Kirsty Muir making history as the first British woman to win World Cup titles in both freeski slopestyle and overall park and pipe. Additionally, just a day prior, Charlotte Bankes, a Winter Olympic gold medallist, celebrated her third World Cup title in snowboard cross.

With this win, Atkin solidifies her position as a leading figure in freestyle skiing, setting the stage for future competitions.
