Zlatan Ibrahimovic has seemingly stepped away from punditry following the World Cup final, declaring, “This was the first and last time for me.” The former star of AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain participated in the Fox Sports punditry crew during the tournament, sharing the spotlight with Thierry Henry and Alexi Lalas, alongside host Rebecca Lowe.

Throughout the six-week event, the chemistry among the pundits became a focal point, with Henry and Ibrahimovic often aligning in their perspectives while Lalas took a contrasting stance. Tensions flared during a heated exchange between Henry and Lalas regarding the controversial decision to overturn Folarin Balogun’s suspension.

As the tournament wrapped up, the 44-year-old Ibrahimovic expressed gratitude to his fellow pundits, stating, “Alexi, thank you. Thierry, thank you. Rebecca, thank you.” He emphasized the ease of working with them, saying, “It has been an absolute pleasure to share this studio with you guys.”
