Belgium's Zizou Bergs celebrated a significant milestone by securing his first ATP Tour title at the Eastbourne Open, defeating French sixth seed Ugo Humbert in a thrilling final.

The match faced interruptions due to rain, forcing the players to resume their battle on Sunday after starting on Saturday. In challenging and blustery conditions, Bergs triumphed with a score of 3-6, 6-1, 6-4.

Initially, Humbert, ranked 30th in the world and aiming for his eighth Tour title, displayed a strong performance, comfortably taking the first set. However, Bergs shifted gears in the second set, showcasing determination and skill that led to a double break, setting the stage for a decisive third set.
