In a thrilling showdown at Rally Greece, Sebastien Ogier clinched victory, marking another triumph in his illustrious career. The Toyota driver, a nine-time World Rally Champion, showcased his skills in a part-time campaign, finishing ahead of Thierry Neuville from Hyundai.

Ogier entered the penultimate stage with a slim 1.7-second lead, but Neuville faced a setback when he suffered a puncture, costing him nearly a minute and effectively ending his hopes for the win. Despite this, Neuville secured second place, finishing 58.3 seconds behind Ogier. Takamoto Katsuta strengthened his title aspirations by taking third, while Josh McErlean from M-Sport celebrated his best-ever finish in the World Rally Championship, coming in fourth.

Elfyn Evans, the championship leader, faced his own challenges. After a strong recovery effort following a puncture that dropped him down the ranks, he ultimately finished in seventh place. His performance on Saturday had shown promise, but misfortune struck again, hampering his progress.

The championship standings tightened as Katsuta earned additional Super Sunday and Power Stage points, narrowing the gap to Evans to just seven points. Ogier's maximum points haul, which included the overall victory and top scores in both Super Sunday and the Power Stage, brought him within 33 points of Evans.
