Newly promoted Crystal Palace has secured the signing of striker Bethany England on a two-year deal with an option for an additional year. The former Tottenham captain, who left after her contract expired this summer, brings a wealth of experience to the squad.

At 32 years old, England has a remarkable track record, having enjoyed significant success with Chelsea, where she won:

• Four WSL titles
• Two Women's FA Cups
• Two Women's League Cups

Her contributions were also pivotal during her tenure at Tottenham, helping the club rise in the WSL. Additionally, she was part of the Lionesses squad that clinched victory at Euro 2022 and finished as runners-up in the 2023 Women's World Cup.

Expressing her excitement about joining Palace, England stated, "It feels great to sign for Crystal Palace. I'm very excited to be here, and I'm looking forward to meeting all the girls and getting started." She emphasized the club's ambition, stating, "Palace are an ambitious club... they’re really pushing to be among the best."

With a career total of 87 WSL goals, England left Tottenham as their all-time top-scorer with 32 goals. Crystal Palace earned their promotion to the WSL last season, finishing as runners-up in the second tier after being relegated in 2025.
