Aston Villa has secured the signing of Mathilde Harviken, a Norway international defender, from Juventus. Harviken, who joined Juventus in January 2025, made nearly 50 appearances for the Italian club, contributing significantly to their success in the Women's Champions League.

During her time with Juventus, she played a crucial role in helping the team clinch multiple titles, including:

• Serie A title
• Coppa Italia
• Inaugural Serie A Women's Cup in 2025

Before joining Juventus, Harviken began her career in Norway with FL Fart and Roa IL, and later moved to Rosenborg in 2022, where she amassed over 80 appearances.

Expressing her enthusiasm about the move to the Women's Super League, Harviken stated, "It's a really good opportunity to join a club with such a big history. There are great facilities here and everything you need to perform and continue developing as a player."

At just 24 years old, Harviken made her senior debut for Norway in 2022 after progressing through the youth ranks. She was also part of the Norway squads at the 2023 Women's World Cup and Euro 2025.
