The Walker Cup features top amateur golfers from both sides, with notable past participants including Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, and Rory McIlroy. This year, Jack Whaley joins the team after winning the US Amateur, becoming only the third Englishman to achieve this feat. Other key players for Great Britain and Ireland include:
