Scotland's 36-man squad for their summer tour has seen the inclusion of uncapped hookers Gregor Hiddleston and Seb Stephen. The team is set to compete against Argentina, South Africa, and Fiji at Murrayfield.

Both players come with experience at a younger level; Hiddleston, aged 24, and Stephen, just 20, have previously represented Scotland at the Under-20 level. Hiddleston also holds two caps for Scotland A, while Stephen played for Emerging Scotland last year.

Key highlights from the squad include:

• Jack Dempsey, despite his upcoming move to Japan, remains part of the lineup.
• Experienced players like Finn Russell are also included, while Blair Kinghorn and Grant Gilchrist are rested.

Gregor Townsend's side will face:

• Argentina in Cordoba on 4 July
• South Africa in Pretoria on 11 July
• Fiji in Edinburgh on 18 July

Sione Tuipulotu continues to lead the squad as captain. Other players such as Liam McConnell, D'arcy Rae, and Duhan van der Merwe will join after participating in the Barbarians matches against South Africa and Wales later this month. Notably, Huw Jones from the Warriors is absent due to injury.

The Scots previously finished third in this year’s Six Nations, achieving three victories out of five matches.
