The 39-year-old, known as MVP, last fought in March, securing an uninspiring decision win over fellow Englishman Sam Patterson. Page, who signed with the UFC in 2023 after a notable nine-year tenure with Bellator, has established himself as one of the promotion's most dangerous and exciting fighters. He has achieved victory in four of his five UFC fights but expressed frustration prior to his bout with Patterson regarding the lack of matchups against higher-profile opponents.

Nursulton Ruziboev, aged 32, enters the fight on a three-fight winning streak and holds the 15th ranking in the UFC's middleweight division. Despite his success, he remains relatively unknown in the sport, similar to Patterson.

This matchup signifies Page's return to middleweight after competing against Patterson at welterweight. The Londoner aims to fight in both divisions to expand his range of opponents. Page has previously called for an all-British clash with former UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards.

In other matchups at the Accor Arena in Paris, Lithuanian-British light-heavyweight Modestas Bukauskas faces France's Oumar Sy, while British featherweight Kurtis Campbell takes on American Trevor Peek. The event's headline fight remains unannounced.
