Brendan Allen, ranked in the top five of the middleweight division, puts his status on the line against the emerging talent Christian Leroy Duncan at UFC Fight Night on Saturday, October 10, at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas. Allen (27-7) is currently on a three-fight win streak but feels he is not progressing in the rankings, expressing frustration about needing to fight someone above him.

In an interview with CBS Sports, Allen stated, "I'm not Roman Dolidze. I'm none of those guys. His best bet is to catch me with something on Saturday night. Other than that, I'm going to beat him up."

Christian Leroy Duncan (15-2) approaches this fight with newfound confidence after victories over Roman Dolidze and Jared Cannonier. He acknowledges Allen's grappling skills but believes his recent experiences have equipped him for the challenges ahead. Duncan remarked, "The rate at which I'm evolving and learning is now putting me in a position to prepare for the top level."

The fight card also features Malcolm Wellmaker, who desperately needs a win after two consecutive losses, and veteran Niko Price, who faces Leon Shahbayzan in what could be his final fight.
