Movsar Evloev is set to fulfill his destiny as he challenges Alexander Volkanovski for the UFC featherweight title at UFC 333 on Saturday in Abu Dhabi. After years of dominance with 20 professional wins and no losses, Evloev feels ready for this moment, despite the long wait for his opportunity.

Evloev’s wrestling prowess and humble demeanor have made it difficult to market him, yet he boasts nearly 2 million Instagram followers. While others have jumped ahead in the title race, such as Diego Lopes, Evloev has remained patient, knowing that his time would come. He stated, "It'll feel like everything that came before was for a reason," emphasizing his commitment to the championship.

On the other hand, Volkanovski, a beloved two-time champion, acknowledges his physical decline but believes his experience will help him overcome Evloev's challenge. He asserts, "I truly believe that after this fight, people will say that this is the best version of Alex they've ever seen."

Evloev, however, doubts Volkanovski's focus, pointing out that the champion has been preparing others for their fights instead of concentrating solely on his own. He insists that his wrestling style is unique and will pose different challenges than those presented by Islam Makhachev.

Looking beyond Saturday's fight, Evloev plans to celebrate with tiramisu if victorious and aims to defend his title frequently. He respects Volkanovski, noting he's one of the few who wanted to fight him, but is eager to prove himself as champion.

As both fighters prepare for this pivotal match, the stakes are high, with Evloev poised to claim the title while potentially ushering in the end of Volkanovski's illustrious career.
