Tyson Fury has hinted that an announcement regarding his highly anticipated fight with Anthony Joshua is on the horizon, as Eddie Hearn set a deadline for negotiations to conclude this week.

Fury shared a striking image on Instagram featuring himself alongside Joshua, set against the iconic New York City skyline, suggesting that Madison Square Garden is the expected venue for their clash on November 20.

Fury expressed his excitement on social media, stating:

What a place NYC, & what a venue MSG, & what a fight Fury vs AJ, the land of opportunity. What a weekend away for the lads on the p**s in NYC. Iconic! Not long. Ow guys.

Originally, the fight was slated for Wembley, but the Saudi state-owned promotional company, Sela, has opted to move it to New York to attract a larger audience on Netflix. This decision has led to discussions about increasing Joshua’s purse to cover the additional taxes involved in boxing in the United States.

Hearn commented on the situation:

There’s nothing agreed right now. We will need to make a decision this week. They have our terms; it’s up to them. We’re speaking multiple times a day, but we’re running out of time. We don’t want to do the fight in the US, but we also understand it has to work for everybody.

Despite the ongoing negotiations, Hearn expressed hope that the complexities would resolve favorably, stating, "I think it will get over the line, but our dream and our hope is they just turn around and go, ‘This is too messy, we’ll just do it in Wembley.'" However, the promoters remain adamant about hosting the fight in America.
