Milwaukee Bucks guard Tyler Herro confirmed the recent physical altercation with former teammate Bam Adebayo during an AAU tournament in Las Vegas, stating he is eager to move past the incident and focus on his new role with the Bucks. Herro, a Milwaukee native, was traded to the Bucks on June 22 as part of a major deal involving Giannis Antetokounmpo, ending his seven-season stint with the Miami Heat.

The altercation occurred when Adebayo confronted Herro about comments attributed to him regarding Adebayo's contract. Reports indicate that following a verbal exchange, Adebayo struck Herro near the chin, though specifics about the incident vary. Sources mentioned that Herro did not fall to the ground and was restrained by others present.

The Miami Heat acknowledged awareness of the incident but declined to comment further. While there are rumors of surveillance footage being available, no formal investigation by the NBA has been announced, and Herro is not seeking legal action against Adebayo.

In an interview with ESPN, Herro expressed his desire to focus on the future, saying, "Honestly, I'm just trying to move past all of it. I'm focused on Milwaukee and building something special."
