The edited 24-second clip focuses on the trophy presentation and Trump shaking hands with players, avoiding the moments of discomfort that drew mockery online. On social media, Trump was absent from images shared by both the Spanish national team and FIFA, where he faced boos during the final.

Earlier in the tournament, Trump stirred controversy by admitting to calling Infantino regarding U.S. striker Folarin Balogun’s red card, claiming he wanted to “wage a complaint.” Infantino maintained that the decision was handled by independent FIFA bodies, describing it as a “balanced measure.”

Trump was awarded the inaugural ‘FIFA Peace Prize’ last year, shortly after the Nobel Peace Prize was presented to Venezuelan activist María Corina Machado.
