Under the ownership of Tom Dundon, the Blazers did not renew Tiago Splitter's contract after he served as interim coach, stepping in during a tumultuous period marked by Chauncey Billups's arrest in a federal gambling investigation. Splitter led Portland to its first playoff appearance since the 2020-21 season before joining the Chicago Bulls.

Nori's contract is distinctive, featuring only one guaranteed year, according to The Athletic. He will coach through the 2026-27 season, with the Blazers holding team options for 2027-28 and 2028-29.
