Tottenham Hotspur is set to target Omar Marmoush and Savinho in a bid to enhance their attacking options with potential signings from Manchester City.

Savinho, a long-time target for Spurs, saw a £50m move considered last summer. Meanwhile, Marmoush has emerged as a key focus for manager Roberto De Zerbi, who aims to revamp a squad that narrowly escaped relegation last season.

• Marmoush joined City in January 2025 from Eintracht Frankfurt for £59m, tallying 16 goals in 62 appearances. However, he started only eight Premier League matches last season.
• Savinho, who arrived in 2024 from City’s sister club Troyes, has scored seven goals in 84 appearances but has seen his playing time diminish since the arrival of Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth.

In their recent Community Shield match against Arsenal, Savinho did not make the bench, while Marmoush played the last 37 minutes as a substitute for Erling Haaland.

City has already generated around £160m this summer by selling Rodri, Tijjani Reijnders, James Trafford, and Nathan Ake. This figure could increase with the potential departures of Marmoush and Savinho, as City also negotiates a deal for Nico Gonzalez with Newcastle.

On the other hand, Tottenham has broken their transfer record twice recently, signing midfielders Mateus Fernandes for £85m and Sandro Tonali for up to £100m. They also acquired centre-back Jan Paul van Hecke from Brighton for £52m and added defenders Marcos Senesi and Andy Robertson on free transfers. Spurs have raised approximately £72m from recent sales, including Cristian Romero to Atletico Madrid and Djed Spence to Inter Milan.
