Heavyweight boxing remains a thrilling spectacle, with Daniel Dubois making headlines by decisively defeating Fabio Wardley. This victory sets the stage for the anticipated showdown between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua at the end of 2026, promising an exciting year ahead for the division.

Key highlights include:

• Agit Kabayel and Filip Hrgovic emerge as newly-crowned champions, while Moses Itauma aims to bounce back after his first career loss.
• Oleksandr Usyk, the reigning champion, is eyeing one final lucrative fight as he nears retirement from a storied career.
• Murat Gassiev and Efe Ajagba, among others, remain contenders in a competitive field.

The rankings reflect both credentials and current performance. Notably, Dutch kickboxer Badr Hari, despite a controversial stoppage against Usyk, has made a case for inclusion in the top ten, with potential matchups against Deontay Wilder.

Filip Hrgovic is on a winning streak, eager to defend his IBF title after a stunning victory over Itauma, while Fabio Wardley faces challenges following back-to-back defeats, risking his position in the rankings.

Tyson Fury remains a formidable presence, preparing for his clash with Joshua, while Joshua's previous performances have raised questions about his durability in the ring.

As the heavyweight landscape evolves, Usyk continues to reign supreme, though questions linger about his future matchups and potential rematches with rivals like Fury and Verhoeven. The division is poised for thrilling encounters as contenders vie for supremacy.
