The Los Angeles Dodgers find themselves in a precarious position in the 2026 NLCS, having dropped the first two games to the Milwaukee Brewers. The Dodgers aim to avoid a repeat of their 2021 playoff experience, where they lost the first two games of the series against the Atlanta Braves and were eliminated in six games. They host the Brewers on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET at Dodger Stadium, hoping a home victory can reignite their championship aspirations.

In their previous encounters, the Dodgers fell 2-1 in Game 1 and lost 7-4 in Game 2. Blake Snell, the two-time Cy Young Award winner, is set to take the mound for Los Angeles. Despite a shaky outing against the Braves, Snell previously dominated the Brewers in Game 1 of the NLCS last year, allowing just one hit and striking out 10 batters over eight scoreless innings.

On the other side, the Brewers look to secure their second World Series appearance, led by rookie Robert Gasser. The young lefty faces the daunting task of overcoming his previous struggles against the Dodgers, where he failed to secure a win in two regular-season meetings, allowing seven runs in 10 2/3 innings.

In the NHL, the Colorado Avalanche host the Dallas Stars at 8:30 p.m. ET after Colorado's recent victory over Dallas. Meanwhile, the Montreal Canadiens take on the Washington Capitals at 7:30 p.m. ET.

In college football, the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers face the Sam Houston Bearkats at 8 p.m. ET.

Betting Odds:

• Dodgers: -176 favorites against Brewers
• Avalanche: -137 favorites against Stars
• Capitals: -120 favorites against Canadiens
• Western Kentucky: 1.5-point favorites against Sam Houston

As the action unfolds, all eyes will be on the Dodgers as they fight to keep their championship dreams alive.
