The season proved particularly rewarding for three standout players:

• Joan Garcia earned the Zamora Trophy, recognizing him for the best goals conceded average in La Liga, allowing just 21 goals in 30 matches (0.7 goals conceded per match). His absence during the Valencia match secured his lead over Thibaut Courtois of Real Madrid, who ended with an average of 0.88.

• Attacking duo Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres shared the Zarra Trophy, awarded to the top Spanish scorer in La Liga. Both players netted 16 goals, edging out international teammate Mikel Oyarzabal. Their achievement remains unofficial until Alberto Moleiro of Villarreal concludes his match against Atletico Madrid without scoring seven or more goals.

Looking ahead, all three players aim for further success as they prepare for the 2026 World Cup in North America. Yamal and Torres are expected to be included in Luis de la Fuente’s squad, while Garcia competes for the last goalkeeper position against Alex Remiro of Real Sociedad, alongside Unai Simon and David Raya.
