Aimee, 25, discovered Hyrox two years ago while seeking a fitness outlet during the off-season of her football career. A former goalkeeper for Wales' Under-19s, she also played cricket at the same level. Transitioning from sports like football to Hyrox was a unique challenge, but it was the sport that truly captivated her when she introduced it to her younger sister Hannah, 22.

In Chicago, the sisters finished 37th in their age group with a time of 1:03:56. Aimee emphasized the importance of dedication, stating, "The training is about the process, putting in the yards every day."

For the upcoming championships, their ambitious goal is to finish under one hour. "If we don't achieve that, we'll keep pushing for it and aim for next year's big competitions," Hannah remarked. They aspire to podium again and qualify for the 2027 Hyrox World Championships, fueled by their unwavering commitment to the sport.
