Tadej Pogacar showcased his dominance in the 2026 Tour de France, clinching his fourth victory on stage 14 from Mulhouse to Le Markstein Fellering on Saturday. This win marked Pogacar's 25th career Tour stage victory, putting him just 10 wins shy of Mark Cavendish's all-time record at the age of 27.

Pogacar solidified his grip on the yellow jersey, extending his overall lead in the general classification to four minutes and 30 seconds over Jonas Vingegaard, who finished fourth on the day. Remco Evenepoel remains in third place, while 19-year-old Paul Seixas impressed by climbing to fourth, just 15 seconds off a podium position in his debut Tour.

Key highlights from the stage include:

• Seixas finished third, trailing Isaac del Toro and gaining the white jersey as the best young rider.
• Tom Pidcock struggled after an early breakaway, losing three-and-a-half minutes and dropping to ninth in the standings.
• Pogacar made his decisive move 1.5km from the summit, winning the 155.3km stage.

Pogacar expressed gratitude to the fans, stating, "Today I must say thanks to all the fans that came to the side of the road... it gives you additional boost to the top. I knew that Isaac is not 100 percent, so I was waiting for the last kilometre."

Looking ahead, Pogacar acknowledged the challenges of the upcoming stage from Champagnole to Plateau de Solaison, indicating it may prove tougher, but he remains prepared to fight. "Tomorrow is a bit more difficult. It will be a hard day for us, but we will be ready to fight tomorrow," he remarked.
