The upcoming showdown between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers promises to be a highlight of Week 6, following impressive wins in Week 5.

The Buccaneers halted a four-game losing streak by defeating the Dallas Cowboys 24-16, led by Bucky Irving, who rushed for a career-high 165 yards, and a defense that forced three turnovers.

In contrast, the Steelers bounced back from a tough loss against the Cleveland Browns to secure a 34-22 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. Jaylen Warren starred in this game, becoming the first player since Herschel Walker in 1986 to achieve both a 50-yard touchdown run and an 80-yard touchdown reception in a single game.

Jalon Daniels, an undrafted rookie, will make his third start for the Buccaneers in place of Baker Mayfield, showcasing impressive stats with over 70% completions in his first two games.

A critical matchup will be Warren and the Steelers' rushing attack against the Buccaneers' formidable run defense, which ranks second in the NFL for fewest rushing yards allowed.

The Steelers will be missing key receivers Michael Pittman, Roman Wilson, and Ben Skowronek, while DK Metcalf is questionable. However, other players have stepped up, with Warren leading the team in receiving yards.

Familiarity plays a role as former Steelers special teams coach Danny Smith now assists the Buccaneers, aiming to exploit Pittsburgh’s special teams struggles.

In terms of predictions, the Steelers have historically excelled against rookie quarterbacks, and new defensive play caller Patrick Graham is expected to implement successful strategies from former coach Mike Tomlin.
