PITTSBURGH -- After the Steelers' emphatic 27-6 victory over the Browns, Jaylen Warren emerged as the focal point in the locker room, showcasing his remarkable skills. Celebrating his 28th birthday, Warren rushed for 143 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries, tying his career-high. This marked his second consecutive 100-yard game and the fourth of the season, solidifying his breakout year as a former undrafted rookie.

Coach Mike McCarthy praised Warren, stating, "Jaylen is on fire. You can't get him the ball enough."

Warren's success is attributed to his prominent role in the offense. The Steelers' offensive line dominated, accumulating 200 yards and three touchdowns on 33 carries against Cleveland's defense. Notably, guard Mason McCormick delivered a stunning body slam to pass rusher Jared Verse, while teammates rallied to request more running plays.

The Steelers' defense also contributed by limiting opponents, not allowing a touchdown in seven quarters, giving Warren's offense more opportunities.

Linebacker T.J. Watt described Warren as "a bowling ball with teeth" and highlighted his resilience and dedication. Cam Heyward, the longest-tenured player, praised Warren as one of the greats, emphasizing the effectiveness of the running back duo with Rico Dowdle.

Warren's pivotal 51-yard run on a third-and-13 play exemplified his ability to sustain drives, helping the team secure a commanding lead.

His personal growth has been significant; after a challenging 2024, Warren committed to enhanced recovery practices, resulting in a career-high 958 yards in 2025. He is now on track for a record-breaking season.

Warren's humility and team-first mentality have made him a beloved figure in the locker room, evident in the support he receives from teammates during his standout performances.
