Si Woo Kim has showcased remarkable consistency during the 2026 PGA Tour season, marking the best regular season of his career. Known for his vibrant personality, Kim has become a serious contender, securing 11 top-10 finishes, including five podium spots and a strong performance at The Open.

Kim, who made history as the youngest winner of The Players Championship at just 21, expressed pride in his performance this year, stating, "I think [it's been the] best year of my career. I've been playing really good. Only thing I hate is I didn't get any wins, so hopefully rest of the year I can get wins."

Currently ranked No. 4 in the FedEx Cup standings, Kim is set to participate in the BMW Championship, ensuring his spot at the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club for the third time in his career. He attributes his success to improved consistency, saying, "Even if I play not great, [I'm] still in the top 25 some way."

Despite his achievements, Kim has yet to secure a victory this season, with his last win coming at the 2023 Sony Open. He remains optimistic, emphasizing that consistency is more valuable than sporadic wins:

I'd rather take more consistent than one win and so many missed cuts.

Beyond the Tour, Kim has another goal: beating world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler at their home club, Royal Oaks in Dallas. He has yet to triumph over Scheffler in their matches, humorously noting, "He's unbeatable. He never misses inside 10 feet."

As they play together, Kim lightheartedly admits to asking Scheffler for strokes but acknowledges the challenge, saying, "I can't do that... even if I lose a lot of money from it." Kim's journey continues as he seeks both victories on the course and bragging rights off it.
