Scott McTominay, currently with Napoli, is reportedly eyeing a return to the Premier League next summer. The Scotland international has made a significant impact in Serie A, yet he seems eager to explore options back in English football.

In the recent transfer window, Manchester United and Aston Villa showed interest in re-signing McTominay, making them key contenders to watch as the next transfer window approaches. Additionally, Newcastle United has emerged as a potential suitor, having been linked with him by Sports Boom.

Key points to consider:

• Manchester United: McTominay previously contributed effectively as a squad player. His return could provide the team with valuable experience and goal-scoring ability from midfield.
• Aston Villa: Another strong project that could appeal to McTominay, offering a chance to make an impact.
• Newcastle United: They may also present an attractive option given their recent ambitions.

While Manchester United has invested heavily in new midfielders this summer, it remains uncertain if they would prioritize McTominay's return, especially with Michael Carrick already having considerable depth in that area. This evolving situation could see McTominay back in the Premier League sooner rather than later.
