Captain Sione Tuipulotu and fly-half Finn Russell rejoin the Scotland squad for their upcoming Nations Championship showdown against New Zealand at Murrayfield this Saturday.

Both players missed the last match against Fiji in July. Head coach Gregor Townsend has also reinstated Kyle Steyn, Huw Jones, Ben White, and Jamie Dobie in the backline, with Dobie having previously come off the bench in the Fiji match.

In terms of the forward pack, Rory Sutherland is the sole starter to retain his place since the 33-17 victory over Fiji. The new lineup includes:

• Ewan Ashman
• Zander Fagerson
• Matt Fagerson
• Scott Cummings
• Jack Dempsey
• Vice-captain Rory Darge

The bench features a mix of seasoned players, with the exception of three-times capped Gregor Hiddleston.

This Test marks the first of three matches for Scotland this month, with Australia and Japan also set to visit Edinburgh.
