In a commanding 5-1 victory against Israel in Budapest, Scotland maintained their lead on goal difference, with Belgium scoring seven unanswered goals in their match against Luxembourg. Weir's performance was nothing short of sensational, adding four goals to her previous hat-trick in a 6-0 rout of Israel.

Andreatta acknowledged Weir's star power but noted her preference for team recognition, stating, "She's quite humble... The squad of 25 all play their part. No part is small when our goal is so big."
