Sasa Lukic has officially joined Ipswich Town from Fulham, marking a significant addition to their midfield as they prepare for the upcoming season. Lukic previously made a total of 106 appearances for the Cottagers after transferring from Torino in January 2023.

Reflecting on his move, Lukic expressed enthusiasm about returning to Portman Road, stating, "I have played at Portman Road before in the Premier League and the atmosphere was one of the best I have experienced."

The Serbian international boasts an impressive resume, having won 62 caps for Serbia and representing his country at both the 2022 World Cup and the 2024 European Championship.

Gary O'Neil, the manager of Ipswich Town, praised Lukic's experience, saying, "Sasa is a player who brings real experience to the squad heading into the new season." O'Neil emphasized Lukic's nearly 100 games in the Premier League, highlighting his ability to compete at the highest level and his consistent performance during his tenure at Fulham.

Prior to his time in England, Lukic had a successful stint at Torino, where he made 168 appearances and scored 14 goals over seven seasons, further showcasing his capabilities on the field.
