The Saracens academy player at the center of the Ben Stokes captaincy controversy has escaped disciplinary action after a nightclub incident involving Gus Atkinson. Totoa Auvaa, a 21-year-old Samoan back-row, threw a punch that missed Atkinson but struck an England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) security guard, who required stitches but chose not to involve the police.

Saracens announced that they will not impose any formal sanctions after completing an independent review of the incident, which occurred on June 8 in a Chelsea nightclub. The club described the incident as "regrettable" and expressed support for Auvaa, stating, "no further action is required and now considers the matter closed."
