Ricky Evans has successfully qualified for the Mr Vegas Grand Slam of Darts, a significant achievement following a challenging ProTour season. Just a day after missing out on a spot at the World Darts Championship, Evans triumphed in a Tour Card Holder qualifier for the second consecutive year.

In the decisive round, Evans showcased his talent by defeating Thomas Lovely, Willie O'Connor, and Cristo Reyes, securing his place in the prestigious tournament. This qualification comes after a year filled with setbacks, making this moment even more crucial for the player.

In addition to Evans, Niko Springer delivered an impressive performance, achieving a staggering 112.25 average to also qualify for the event in Wolverhampton. Other notable qualifiers include:

• Stephen Bunting
• Bradley Brooks
• Joe Cullen, who returned after defeating Michael Smith in his final match.

Despite his recent success, Evans faces further challenges ahead. He failed to secure a spot at the Worlds through the ProTour, which means he must participate in the TCH Qualifier scheduled for November 30 to potentially reach Ally Pally in December.

The confirmed participants for the Mr Vegas Grand Slam of Darts include:

• Stephen Bunting
• Maik Kuivenhoven
• Tom Sykes
• Rusty-Jake Rodriguez
