Real Madrid hosts Inter Milan in a highly anticipated Champions League opener on October 18, 2023. This match marks Jose Mourinho's return to the Bernabeu, where he aims to secure his first Champions League title with Real Madrid, over 16 years after leading Inter to an impressive Treble.

Mourinho's tenure at Real Madrid was marked by the absence of the Champions League trophy, a gap he seeks to fill after returning to the club following a 13-year hiatus. The pressure mounts on Real Madrid to perform this season, especially after enduring two trophyless campaigns that precipitated Mourinho's comeback.

In addition to Mourinho's storyline, Kylian Mbappe, fresh off a dazzling World Cup with France, is also eager to clinch his first Champions League title. Having joined Real Madrid after witnessing his former club Paris Saint-Germain win consecutive European crowns, Mbappe's ambitions align with the team's goal to reclaim European glory.

Fans can expect a thrilling encounter as both teams vie for a strong start in the prestigious tournament. Follow live updates as the match unfolds.
