Real Madrid has been encouraged to consider a move for Martin Zubimendi, as the midfielder's situation at Arsenal raises eyebrows in Spain. After joining the Gunners to bolster their midfield, Zubimendi has faced scrutiny due to his limited playing time, leading to suggestions that a return to Spain might be beneficial.

Dani Garrido, a presenter from Cadena SER, believes that Real Madrid should look into acquiring the former Real Sociedad star, especially given his current struggles in north London. He stated,

“Having Zubimendi, for example, in London where he doesn’t play at all, absolutely nothing, zero minutes, and when he does play they put him at full-back… if I were Madrid, I’d ask the price.”

Garrido further emphasized that Zubimendi could be a perfect fit for Jose Mourinho, suggesting that the midfielder's skill set aligns well with the needs of Real Madrid.

Despite his potential appeal, it’s important to note that Arsenal may resist any offers for Zubimendi. The Gunners brought him to the Premier League to enhance their squad, and his future could hinge on how his role evolves at the Emirates Stadium.

Real Madrid would need to ascertain whether Arsenal is open to negotiations before proceeding with any formal interest. While Garrido's remarks do not indicate that talks are in motion, they underscore the increasing speculation in Spain regarding the midfielder's future.

For now, Zubimendi's situation is one to keep an eye on, as ongoing criticism of his playing time at Arsenal might fuel further discussions about a potential transfer to Real Madrid.
