Real Madrid has made its intentions clear to Manchester United regarding the acquisition of one of the Premier League club’s brightest young prospects, JJ Gabriel. The Spanish giants have reportedly approached the Red Devils to discuss a potential move for the 16-year-old talent.

JJ Gabriel has rapidly ascended through Manchester United’s youth ranks since joining the academy in 2022. His impressive performances have attracted attention from several major European clubs, with notable statistics from last season:

• 29 goals and 4 assists in 32 appearances
• Promotion to United’s Under-21 setup

This season, Gabriel has maintained his form, scoring 2 goals and providing 2 assists in just 120 minutes of play. However, uncertainty looms over his future at Old Trafford, especially after he reportedly expressed a desire to leave the club last month.

Real Madrid has contacted Manchester United to assess the youngster’s contract situation and discuss a potential transfer fee, though the exact financial limits have not been disclosed. According to José Félix Díaz in AS, "Real Madrid kept United’s management informed at all times of the possibility of signing him and their willingness to negotiate a transfer fee for the young English talent."

The competition for Gabriel is fierce, with Barcelona and Bayern Munich also reportedly interested in the young star. His eligibility for an EU passport could significantly influence his next move, given the restrictions on international transfers for young players.

Manchester United is eager to retain another promising academy prospect, and the coming weeks will be critical in determining whether Gabriel opts for a new challenge in Spain or Germany. As Real Madrid has expressed its interest, a deal remains uncertain as the young talent weighs his options.
