Real Madrid is reportedly targeting Michael Olise, the Bayern Munich winger, as their number one attacking goal this summer, according to a recent ESPN report. The club's president, Florentino Pérez, has identified the France international as a key focus, particularly in light of the upcoming presidential election.

Pérez has pledged to make a record investment in a new signing if re-elected, with Olise emerging as a prominent candidate behind that commitment. The report suggests that Real Madrid is prepared to bid between €150m and €165m, potentially setting a new transfer record for the club.

However, the situation is complicated by Olise's contract with Bayern Munich, which runs until June 2029 and has no release clause. As a result, Bayern holds all the leverage in any negotiations, with both Christian Falk and Fabrizio Romano indicating that the club views Olise as unsellable and is unlikely to entertain any offers.

In a recent appearance on the Spanish television program Horizonte, Pérez confirmed his intention to make the largest single investment in the club's history—at least €150m—if he secures re-election, emphasizing that his target is not a Premier League player.

Olise, who joined Bayern Munich from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2024, has become one of Europe’s standout wide forwards, particularly following his impressive performance in the Champions League quarterfinals at the Bernabéu. Interest from Manchester City and Liverpool has also surfaced, with Liverpool eyeing him as a potential long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah.
