Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman has been arrested on multiple charges stemming from a June 3 incident in his home state of Georgia. The charges include family violence, as well as criminal property damage, reckless conduct, and battery, according to official booking documents from the Walton County Sheriff's Office.

In response to the situation, the Ravens released a statement to WJZ, asserting their awareness of the matter and their ongoing communication with Bateman. Chad Steele, the Ravens’ Sr. Vice President of Communications, stated:

We are aware of the situation involving Rashod and have been in direct communication with him. We notified the league office and have been cooperating throughout the process. As this is a pending legal matter, we will not have further comment.
