Barcelona are soaring at the top of La Liga, and their remarkable performance has caught the attention of many, including Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone. After a stunning 3-1 victory over Sevilla on Saturday, Simeone expressed his admiration, stating,

"Honestly, they play amazingly well. It’s like they’re playing a different sport—a sport completely different from the one we play."

Simeone highlighted the impressive contributions from players like Raphinha, who has netted 12 goals in just 7 games, and Yamal, who has added another 7 goals to the tally.

He remarked on Barcelona's aggressive style:

• They press high up the pitch.
• They close down opponents quickly.
• They take risks, even if it means conceding, as it only seems to make them more dangerous.

Simeone concluded that, based on their current form,

"Right now, they are the best team in the league, based on what they are showing."

Barcelona's exceptional play has led to discussions about their status, with some even suggesting they might be the best team in the world at this moment.

In contrast, Simeone's own team managed a 2-1 win against Real Madrid in the first Madrid derby of the season, showcasing that while Atletico is performing well, they still trail behind Barcelona's extraordinary levels.

As the international break looms, fans are left hoping that Barcelona can maintain their momentum and continue their free-scoring ways.
