Fallon Sherrock and Gemma Hayter have officially qualified for the 2027 PDC World Championship, following an impressive performance by Beau Greaves at the Women's Series held in Wigan. This event marked a significant milestone, as Sherrock returns to Alexandra Palace, a venue where she made history in 2020.

Sherrock, known as 'The Queen of the Palace', solidified her position in the top five of the Women's Series, despite facing tough competition in previous years. Her journey included:

• Wins against Ted Evetts and Mensur Suljovic
• A loss to Chris Dobey in the knockout stages

This upcoming December will mark her seventh appearance at the championship, having only secured one title in the Women's Series so far.

Hayter's route to the Event 22 final confirmed her spot at the World Championship as well. She reached her third final of the year, ensuring a top five finish on the Women's Series Order of Merit. Notably, she:

• Lost on her championship debut to Josh Rock last year but showed potential by winning a set
• Claimed the WDF World Masters Title in 2026
• Achieved her first victory at the Women's World Matchplay

Joining Sherrock and Hayter at Alexandra Palace will be Lisa Ashton and Beau Greaves, with Vicky Pruim vying for the final qualification spot.

Greaves showcased her dominance in Wigan, clinching back-to-back titles on a thrilling day. Her path to victory included:

• A remarkable 5-0 win over Rhian O'Sullivan in the quarter-finals
• A semi-final victory against Sherrock, securing a 5-0 triumph
• A final showdown against Vicky Pruim, where she won 5-3 with a stunning 13-darter

In Event 22, Greaves continued her winning streak, defeating Gemma Hayter 5-3 in the final, thus achieving her record-extending 61st Women's Series title. Despite her loss, Hayter's performance was enough to secure her place at the World Championship. As the 2026 PDC Women's Series season approaches its conclusion, Events 23-24 are set to take place in Wigan.
