Oliver Bearman, the British driver currently racing for Haas, expressed that he feels "flattered" by rumors linking him to Red Bull Racing. This speculation arises amidst ongoing uncertainty regarding Max Verstappen's future with the team, despite the Dutch driver having a contract that extends until 2028.

Verstappen's representatives have reportedly engaged in discussions with McLaren recently as he evaluates his options for the upcoming season. Meanwhile, Bearman has emerged as a potential candidate for Red Bull, prompting him to address the rumors ahead of the Belgian Grand Prix.

Bearman stated, "It's quite flattering to hear things like that, to be connected with a team like Red Bull, who are incredibly successful. But like I said, it's just rumors, and I'm fully focused on what I'm doing here with Haas at the moment."

As a Ferrari junior since 2022, Bearman made his debut at the 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix as a replacement for Carlos Sainz. He has consistently outperformed his teammate Esteban Ocon and aims for a future seat at Ferrari, stating, "They are really the reason that I'm here right now."

On the other hand, Verstappen remains tight-lipped about his future, emphasizing that he will disclose any updates personally. He has until October to decide on the activation of a clause in his contract that could allow him to leave Red Bull at the season's end.

The performance of Red Bull has been inconsistent this season, and Verstappen noted, "We're just looking to the future, trying to fix the current issues that we have on the car."

As the Belgian GP approaches, the focus remains on both drivers’ futures and their performances on the track.
