As the NFL regular season approaches its halfway mark, several coaches find themselves under intense scrutiny. With 10 coaching jobs opened last offseason, the likelihood of more changes looms large. Here's a rundown of the coaches feeling the heat entering Week 8 of the season.

5. Nick Sirianni, Eagles
Sirianni faces criticism despite the Eagles' injury struggles, particularly with Jalen Hurts, DeVonta Smith, and others missing during a 38-21 loss to the Cowboys. The Eagles started the season poorly, with two lackluster wins followed by a blowout loss to the Bears. Sirianni's status has become precarious as the team falters after a Super Bowl-winning season.

4. Dan Quinn, Commanders
Quinn's position has deteriorated since Washington's poor clock management in a tie against the Giants. The Commanders sit at 1-4-1 after their Week 7 bye, and injuries, including a season-ending one to Terry McLaurin, have compounded the issues. Despite some promising signs from rookie Sonny Styles, the team's performance remains concerning.

3. Jim Harbaugh, Chargers
The Chargers are currently the NFL’s only winless team and sit at the bottom in points scored. Justin Herbert's regression raises questions about Harbaugh's future, as the team struggles to find its footing. With a looming eight-year playoff win drought, ownership may consider significant changes soon.

2. Aaron Glenn, Jets
Glenn's clock management came under fire during a loss to the Dolphins, highlighting the Jets' poor performance at the end of halves, where they are outscored 107-6 since last season. With an 0-8 divisional record, Glenn's job security is increasingly uncertain.

1. Shane Steichen, Colts
Steichen's situation is dire following the dismissal of Chris Ballard. With the Colts at 2-5, his job hangs in the balance, especially if key players are traded before the deadline. Steichen's tenure has been marred by instability at quarterback and the missteps of the front office, leaving his future in jeopardy.
