The Thursday Night Football clash between the Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions promises an offensive showcase, presenting intriguing choices for NFL DFS players. With stars like Josh Allen, James Cook, Jahmyr Gibbs, and Amon-Ra St. Brown available, selecting the right players for daily Fantasy football lineups becomes crucial.

To navigate the high costs of elite players while adhering to the NFL DFS salary cap, targeting underrated options is essential. Sione Vaki steps in for David Montgomery in the Lions' backfield, and Josh Palmer made a notable impact for the Bills in Week 1 by scoring a touchdown. Additionally, the kickers from both teams, who combined for 19 points in their season openers, should not be overlooked.

Mike McClure, a renowned DFS expert with over $2 million in career winnings, has provided strategic advice for this matchup. His prediction model evaluates every snap, factoring in matchups, trends, and injuries to identify the best DFS values. McClure's successful history includes multiple top finishes in prestigious tournaments like the DraftKings Millionaire Maker and the FanDuel Million.

Among his top picks for this matchup, Josh Allen stands out. He has consistently ranked among the top quarterbacks in Fantasy points and delivered an impressive performance against Houston, throwing for 334 yards and 2 touchdowns, while also rushing for 23 yards and 2 scores. Facing a Lions defense that recently struggled against the Saints, Allen is primed for another big game.

Additionally, Sam LaPorta, the Lions' tight end, is another player to watch. He recorded 5 catches for 48 yards in Week 1, with significant redzone targets, making him a potential scoring threat. Given the Bills' previous performance against tight ends, LaPorta could capitalize on this opportunity.

To enhance your DFS lineups for this exciting matchup, McClure also highlights an undervalued player who could significantly impact your tournament outcomes. For more details on his insights and additional picks, check out his analysis at SportsLine.
