Vieira weighed in at 152lbs for their scheduled 145lb fight, which was set to take place in Tampa, Florida, for the PFL's featherweight world title.

Despite the weight miss, the fight will proceed as a catchweight bout, but Cyborg's title will not be on the line. Cyborg, 41, expressed her determination on social media, stating, "We don't care. Porrada."

The MMA legend, who successfully made the championship weight limit, indicated that this bout might mark the end of her illustrious 21-year career, during which she has secured world titles in Strikeforce, Bellator, UFC, and PFL. She reflected on the potential cancellation of the fight after learning about Vieira's weight issue on Friday morning.

Cyborg commented, "I believe Pederneiras' team is very professional and I'm not here to judge them, but she fought at 135lb, moved up to 145lb, and fought in May [in the UFC]. I think they were going to cancel the fight and everything, but there was a conversation to make sure the fight wouldn't get cancelled, and they reached a catchweight agreement."

Expressing her relief, Cyborg added, "I'm happy that I made weight. I'm really happy that the fight is going to happen." With the stakes altered, fans eagerly await what could be Cyborg's final appearance in the octagon.
