Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount is anticipated to miss Wednesday's pre-season match against Leeds at Croke Park.

In the first three pre-season matches, Mount showcased his skills in the number eight role alongside new signing Andrey Santos. However, his recent performance was cut short after he sustained a foot injury during the early minutes of Saturday's draw against Paris St-Germain in Gothenburg.

Head coach Michael Carrick noted that Mount was substituted in the first half as a precautionary measure. Despite walking freely to the team coach post-game, it has been reported that the 27-year-old has not participated in training since the incident.

As a result, it is unlikely that Mount will feature in the upcoming match against Leeds. Additionally, his availability for Saturday's final pre-season game against Ruben Amorim's AC Milan in Wroclaw remains uncertain.
