Former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O'Hara has called for Tottenham Hotspur to pursue Marcus Rashford from Manchester United. Speaking on Sky Sports' Tottenham summer special podcast, O'Hara believes Spurs manager Roberto De Zerbi could be the ideal man-manager to unlock Rashford's potential, especially with uncertainty surrounding the forward's future at United.

O'Hara highlighted that Tottenham is actively seeking a new left-sided forward, with interest in players like Savinho from Manchester City and Cody Gakpo from Liverpool. He expressed his admiration for both players but questioned why Spurs have not made a move for Rashford, stating:

I just don't know why we don't go for Marcus Rashford. I really think that Spurs should just go, how much do you want? How much can we get him for?

Despite Rashford's hefty wage of £350,000 a week, O'Hara emphasized his talent and potential impact, especially if he plays with a chip on his shoulder.

Rashford recently returned to the Manchester United squad after a loan spell at Barcelona, where he scored 14 goals and provided 14 assists in 47 appearances. O'Hara thinks Rashford would fit perfectly into De Zerbi's plans, especially as the manager aims to sign at least one wide attacker before the summer transfer window closes.

O'Hara also discussed the ongoing recruitment efforts at Spurs, noting their significant investment of £237 million on six new players this summer. Concerns have arisen about the forward line still needing reinforcement, particularly as the window closes in under three weeks.

Additionally, O'Hara expressed disappointment over the potential departure of Djed Spence, who is nearing a move to Inter Milan. He believes Spence's versatility could be vital for Spurs, especially if injuries occur within the squad.
