Manchester City is set to enhance its attacking options by securing Iliman Ndiaye from Everton for up to £65m. The club has also initiated discussions with Chelsea regarding a potential transfer for Enzo Fernández. This move follows City's failed pursuit of Cody Gakpo from Liverpool.

Ndiaye's transfer to City comes after Tottenham had initially reached an agreement with Everton. The fee of £60m plus £5m in add-ons has been finalized, with the Senegal international expected to undergo a medical soon. Previously, it appeared that Ndiaye was destined for Spurs, especially after an agreement in principle was established on Sunday. However, a stalled transfer involving Richarlison, who expressed his desire to stay at Spurs, shifted the dynamics.

As Spurs pivot to other targets, they are reportedly close to signing Mykhailo Mudryk on loan from Chelsea. Mudryk, who recently resolved a doping ban, seeks a reunion with Spurs' manager Roberto De Zerbi.

Meanwhile, Chelsea is bracing for a hectic end to the transfer window. They have set a £120m asking price for Fernández, who is eager to join City and has a strong rapport with City's manager Enzo Maresca. Chelsea is also exploring replacements for Fernández, considering players like Manu Koné from Roma and Lamine Camara from Monaco.

Additionally, Robert Sánchez is on the verge of leaving Chelsea, nearing a loan move to Como, after losing his starting position following the arrival of Emiliano Martínez.
