Manchester United's defender Lisandro Martinez expressed his frustration with the club's hierarchy following their 2-0 loss to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League. In a striking post-match interview, the Argentina international voiced concerns about the lack of summer investment in the squad.

Martinez highlighted his disappointment with the club's leadership, particularly calling out technical director Jason Wilcox for not enhancing the team during the recent transfer window. He stated, "I have to control myself a lot, but sometimes it's a reflection of how our club is at the moment."

He emphasized the need for improvement, noting:

We had a fantastic season last season and now we expect more from the top, from upstairs, to bring in more players to compete. Yes, 100 percent. I expect more from our technical director. I have to be honest. And also, as a player, we have to do more.

Looking ahead, Manchester United has critical fixtures lined up, including matches against Leeds on October 18 and Chelsea on October 31. With the pressure mounting, the club must address both on-field performance and off-field management to regain their competitive edge.
